Hello everyone! My name is Andrew Hickman and I have been teaching for 5 years. This is my second masters through Walden, my first being the Teacher Leadership Program. I teach middle school science for 6th graders. I want to incorporate my new technology skills in my classroom and have my students become more prepared for the upcoming world. I hope my wiki does well and look forward to support from everyone.

Hello, my name is Sara Cutbirth. I have been teaching for 10 years. I spent the first two years teaching 4th grade and the other eight teaching third graders. I am transitioning to a new position this school year. I will be the technology teacher. I will be part of the special's rotation. I will teach all the students technology skills. I am excited about this new position and this class came at the perfect time! I look forward to working with all of you.

Hello All!
My name is Katie Hurin. I teach third grade in Great Falls, Montana. This is my third year teaching- for the past two years I taught sixth grade. I have learned many interesting things throughout my collegiate and post-graduate work and I am exciting to put these skills into practice.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Kaladia and I teach 4th grade elementary in a neighborhing town from my own here in Florida. I have been teaching for 6 years now (1.5 years of 3rd grade, 3.5 years of 4th grade and 1 year of 7th grade math). I have learned quite a lot as a Walden student and have implemented many of the instructional practices throughout last year. Here is a link to my class blogs and wikispace: Focus on Learning, Star Reader Class Blog (which I am phasing out since it is blocked by our district to have full access), and . Focus on Learning Class Wiki . Feel free to post comments on these sites about what you like, questions you may have, or suggestions as to how to improve these spaces for my students. Thanks in advance!

Hello! My name is Whitney Barber and I teach 7th grade Language Arts at Deer Park Junior High in Deer Park, Texas. I will begin my sixth year teaching middle school in August, and I am excited to implement the new technology tools I have learned throughout my courses with Walden University. I am also looking forward to sharing this wiki with my classmates in hopes of continuing my journey as a life-long, self-directed learner.

Hola a todos! My name is Bryan Horn. I am about to begin my eighth year of teaching high school Spanish at Elida High School in Elida, OH. We are moving into a new building this year so there is a little extra excitement to get the year started. When I'm not teaching I spend most of the time with my wife Jamie and my two boys Tarekegn and Mataniah.

Better Late Than Never!
That should be my motto as I am a terrible timekeeper! My name is Susan Hart and I have been teaching across thee globe for over 10 years now. If I'm being honest, I actually stopped counting after 10! Although I began my career as a Middle School teacher, I trained for 7-11 years and I have even taught Pre-Schoolers. I did not have the stamina or sanity to stay there long so next year I move back to my favorite third grade.
I look forward to reading your lesson ideas and helping out wherever I can.
Susan

Hello, all! My name is Danielle Brandt, and I teach freshmen English and reading in Omaha, Nebraska. In addition, this school year I am adding one technology class to my schedule, so this Walden course came at a perfect time for me! I am eager to participate in this wiki, as it will hopefully give me some strong ideas of things I can do with my own students!

Hello. My name is Jennifer Davis and I teach high school and secondary Visual Arts in Richfield Springs, New York. We are a very small, rural prek-12 central school. Admittedly, I do not use that much technology in my art classes and have been trying to use more each year that I teach. I like to use technological tools in a unique way that engages the students and gives them a new insight into these tools and how they work with creative skills.
